The PMBOK ® Guide was first published by the Project Management Institute (PMI) as a white paper in 1987. In 1996, version The first official (first edition) of this book has been published. And then, in 2000, the second edition (second edition) of the book was reprinted. In 2004, the PMBOK ® Guide – Third Edition was published including changes since the first edition. The PMBOK ® Guide – the fourth edition of the PMBOK ® Guide – was released on December 31, 2008. The fifth edition in English was released in 2013.
